About Zina Tahiri

A lifelong appreciation for fine jewelry, shaped by family, experience, and gemological expertise.

Zina Tahiri’s journey into fine jewelry began in 2000, when she was introduced to the jewelry world through her family in Italy. She soon began joining her uncle, a jeweler and antique dealer, at jewelry and antique shows throughout Europe, where she developed an early appreciation for exceptional craftsmanship, gemstones, and distinctive design.

Back home in New York, less than two years later, Zina began her professional career in Manhattan’s Diamond District, working for a renowned celebrity jeweler. The experience immersed her in the world of high jewelry and gave her an understanding of the industry from design and production to the finished piece.

After several years, she left New York for California to pursue formal gemological training at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), where she earned her Graduate Gemologist credentials.

In 2012, Zina founded her namesake collection in New York.

At the heart of Zina Tahiri is a deep passion for natural diamonds, solid gold, and jewelry made to endure. Zina believes fine jewelry should have permanence — pieces chosen not only for how they look today, but for the way they can be worn, treasured, and eventually passed down.

That philosophy is reflected throughout the collection, from refined everyday pieces to substantial diamond jewelry and statement designs. Each piece is selected or created with close attention to craftsmanship, proportion, quality, and wearability, with an emphasis on materials that stand the test of time.
